Panel Musings

I have been using Scott Wilkinson's XPanel to tinker with the panel layout.  It works well and is easy to learn.

Planning the panel layout has been one of the most frustrating experiences of building the RV-7.  The range of products available, my limited understanding of their capabilities and interface modes and requirements and not being able to put hands on the product and look the developers in the face for explanations made it tougher than it needed to be. 

Scott Wilkinson of XPanel Software developed the panel planning tool that I used to work up my panel.  It is a very powerful tool that is easy to learn.  It allows users to share their work, respond with changes, add equipment, design equipment...etc.  Give it a try - you'll be glad you did.
